Why I chose this one: Well, full disclosure, Esther is my friend.

Also, before Brenda Spencer, we had no concept of kids shooting other kids at school. None. Brenda and 1979 changed everything, and taught America a new fear. Even creepier: her demeanor upon her capture and arrest, and her reason given for the shooting.
